Such a prescient, beautiful sentiment.

A Monday Lift.

A Nice Swipe At Inconsequential Politicians.

I urge you to visit and read this article. It is uplifting and indicative of the real power that people can and do exercise to make our world a better place. As a bonus it is an antidote to the misery poured on us daily by politicians and their bureaucratic idiots in civil service and EUSSR gulags!

It also acts as a foil to the likes of John Ward at the "Slog". For despite "the warts and all" nature of our lives, herein lies the truth of how human endeavour overcomes all. Sure famine and wars are always with us, as are the poor, the ignorant and the just plain dumb. Yet still we see collective effort coming through. It just doesn't get people elected or newspapers sold!

  1. A great article.
I just hope, if the proles with short-term memories vote them in again, that the politics of envy (Labour) will not get their blood-stained hands (Iraq, NHS) on anything which might slow this progress.
