Such a prescient, beautiful sentiment.

Fastest Invite To The Tax Teat Ever?

Just a day after Ossie The Lost puts out the latest doom and gloom this wealthy pensioner not only grabs another fat income, he shamelessly and in a matter of days, if not hours, puts his mate, unelected, into a £50k stipend. A reported "retired" Superintendent and "Businessman" turns out to be just another product of a long line of "favoured" sons.

I suspect his "Independent" credentials didn't prevent some insider knowledge to run a business. Probably one connected to supplying police forces with something. I do wonder, too, what he trousered as a retired Super. Whatever, he looks just like all the other troughers but in a sheepskin coat. A man hiding his wolf like ability to devour yet more of our tax under the guise of a jolly good chap. In  the official circles of bureaucracy that's an oxymoron.

On a different matter, Stuart Hall's and DLT's  appointment of Max Clifford as a publicist, seem to have gone pear shaped! Hardly The Three Musketeers! As for The BBC, was Patten also in negotiations with the awful Max? Whose still to come, one wonders? Max will be doubting the "There's no such thing as bad publicity." mantra!
