Oldrightie and why we voted leave and how love of democracy won.
Have a fun restful day, OR. That was a good humour break.
Glad you enjoyed it it, AB.
I have the full box set of both Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister (initially stolen from T'internet, allegedly, since purchased via Amazon).Hardly a single topic comes up that is not already covered by these programmes; corruption, cutbacks, ego-mania, Climate Change (or as above The Environment), waste, Human Rights, immigration, getting out of the EU, strikes/Unions, hack journalists, sucking up to grubby foreign dictators; it's all been done before.
Hi, Banned. Remember that idiot Bliar rubbishing history then following it slavishly, as in YPM?
"...subsidising self indulgence" - wonderful!
I find "Twenty Twelve" a good modern satire, too. Howeveryes Minister/PM are classic barbs against the hidden buffoons in Whitehall, which seems may never be repeated.
