Such a prescient, beautiful sentiment.

The Soviet Experience Still Raw.

Do I Detect Cojones?

"Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban refused an EU request to withdraw the bill, saying the country would not take orders from Brussels."

Come on, take a deep breath and read the last few words of that sentence again. Self imposed austerity, in the face of false and evil hope , rather than have it dictated and accepted from elsewhere, as it was with Greece, then rejoice. Here is the spirit of 1956. "The Hungarian uprising of 1956 was a spontaneous rebellion by a nation against the rule from Moscow -(Brussels) against the faceless, indifferent, incompetent functionaries (the 'funkies' David Irving calls them, adapting the Hungarian word funkcion├íriusok) who in little more than a decade had turned their country into a pit of Marxist misery."
Misery can be fought!

Those nations, bending to the will of Brussels, need to follow the Hungarian example and topple the myths of EU supremacy. Where has that hubristic monolith brought us? To rack and ruin. Cast it aside, open the windows and doors and let the light flood in! Let your nation decide the fate of its people, not single entities like the North Korean, Orwellian demand.

If Hungary are to suffer, let it be their choice. Switch UK aid from Brazil and India to bolster the bullied nations of Europe. Money and greed is the weapon of choice. Get greedy for sovereignty and control of your destiny. Don't surrender to the nastiness of dictatorship by stealth! Just rise up and say enough is enough. Even the Russian people are doing so..........and the Syrian, Egyptian, Libyan............maybe the Yanks will get their act together. Or even the dumbed down Brits.

Globalisation is a busted flush. Time for something better. I buy your petrol, you buy my intelligence!!

  1. A delightful face slap to the EU, OR!

  2. Good for the Hungarians! If every other country would follow suit, the horrid EU could be lying on the scrap heap of history in early 2012!

I hope the New Year brings all good things to you and yours, OR!

  3. How true, Bunni. Thank you for your wishes. I wish us all but some even more for 2012. You are one of them.

  4. The difference is that the Hungarians still have fairly recent memories of being controlled and dictated to by a corrupt (foreign) government. Unfortunately we, and many other EU countries, do not...
