Prescience Personified?

Listen To How We Used To Be As A Nation.

Inspired by comments received yesterday.

The tolerance and decency he speaks of was just abused and stifled through any interest in limiting numbers being called racist. Yet today many coloured immigrants rant against the Polish influx as undesirable! As the great man said and still remains the case, "We must be mad"!

    I can well remember the brouhaha that came about after this speech.

    My father, himself an Irish immigrant, said at the time that he thought that Enoch Powell was a man of great foresight, and that if things didn't change that ".....the feckin' darkies will soon be stabbing us in the streets".

    And so it came to pass.......
