ReplyDeleteThank you all, as ever. Tris, the flower is a yucca. Part of Mrs OR's introduction of exotics to go with her mainly cottage style planting. ReplyDeleteMy mum had three yuccas in her garden which flowered about every third year but that was in the balmy southwest of England.
