ARE YOU ALL READY AND WAITING?

MY booze is ordered, popcorn stocked up. I am so excited. If it goes pear shaped, I just start a new life elsewhere. If Labour are routed, I start a new life of freedom from The Socialist Yoke

  2. Sorry to put a downer on this OR but a helluva lot of damage can be done in a lot less than 299 days. 'Stalingrad' comes readily to mind.

Great picture of the Great Helmsman though. You can see the pure, malignant narcissism creep from every pixel.

  4. The invading hordes of Nazis was eventually repulsed, JB. As you rightly say, at great cost. Yet I will pay virtually any price to see Labour gone. Hang on, I already have paid a hefty price that denied me a life style so beloved of Labour apparatchiks!

  6. Ha Ha, Canesten! They both have thrush!

  7. How many thousands of good citizens of this country are wondering whether they would seriously consider emigration? It isn't far from my mind these days. I know that sounds like empty rhetoric but, with each day and each week, the idea seems to be marching towards a kind of regretful inevitability.

  8. I will not stay if Labour are elected next year, or even a hung Parliament. Only a massive defeat of Labour will keep us here.

  9. OR. You are assuming that there won't be a convenient "contingency" in the next 299 days. As you say, if Labour get re-elected or there is a convenient contingency I shall go to Albania and ask for political asylum.

  10. Sean, I take your point but my goodness it just might stir some good old fashioned action!
