Are we up to it?

The Weaning Process?

News today is full of cuts and savings. Note the former noun is the preferred Chatterati/Leftie word. The latter, savings, much more sensible. The problem is that, when you endeavour to wean, you get the imploring faces as above tugging at your heart strings. In reality it will be the snarling nastiness of the feckless and socialist duped benefit masses, the unnecessary Public Sector "outreach workers" and Labour appointed incompetents' faces we shall witness.
For the General "have now, pay later" Public, the weaning off debt and credit card maxing will be difficult. Most have no concept of austerity. Of making do, of waiting until the money is there to spend from effort and judicial "putting a bit by". There will be pain for all of us. I expect difficulties from my equity related pension income and the 20% real inflation already hurts. However, let everyone learn to be efficient in their finances and slowly real wealth will be discovered and be long term. Booms and busts will be less dramatic and less traumatic, without Socialist dogma to pay for. People need to make slothfulness undesirable and ambition worthwhile.
The Chatterati and the Left need to be weaned off their "only Socialism" is good rubbish. History proves otherwise as we all lose the comfort of the tit of debt!
Of course the likes of Peter P and Snotty will not be supping of their legacy. Oh no. Theirs is to be ever grander and greater wealth from the skin of our backs. Loathsome crowd. One hope is that Mandy's mafia friends decide to gag him and The Yanks make public the stuff they have on Brown and Bliar.

I've been away, OR. Glad to catch up. I'm afraid that the UK is too addicted to their debt to individually change. Still, things do look better already!

This is not the 'austerity' Generation this fact will become the salient point leading to the Conservatives being ejected back out of office.
