Good.
Let's hope that they also have enough spine to actually stand up to Government and flatly refuse to do it.

I suppose it depends how much the govt will offer them to carry it out. It's a good find OR and I'm linking to it.

"...the notion of total security is a paranoid fantasy which would destroy everything that makes living worthwhile." - Sir Ken McDonald, former DPP, talking earlier this year about the data 'silo'.

I'm an old cynic, though. Those companies would do it without a murmur if the price was right.

Hey, Edgar, so far it's good news. I tend to agree the your "if" but it's another good reason to vote Conservative, surely? That's very good news for OR and for anonymouse. Give him something else to think about! Must be a he, they "don't do women" in Labours' world. Ask Harryete, spelling deliberate!

I hate to burst your bubble OR, but this is an EU directive. This subject is a "pet hate project" of mine and we are not safe yet, not by a long shot!

Function creep allows EU states to use intrusive remote computer searches to target any crime, however minor
